Description
Compact and Efficient
Designed and assembled in the UK, the "Lakeland" range is the most efficient of their size in the UK, together with the lowest emissions (Dust Particles) available today.
The Derwent has a powerful tertiary air system that is central to the stove's efficiency and clean viewing window. Preheated air drawn into the fire chamber is injected into the primary combustion gases path, re-igniting the gases to produce a cleaner, more efficient fire.
Reduce your energy bills
With a 5kW rating and an incredible 80.7% efficiency the Derwent can genuinely reduce your household energy bills.
With the latest price cap increase and wholesale price of electricity, gas and oil, burning kiln dried logs comes in at the cheapest price per kWh heat source.
In real terms this mean you can save hundreds of pounds per year on your heating bills whether used as a primary or secondary heat source.
Multi-fuel
Designed to burn wood logs or smokeless coals, the Derwent offers you the flexibility to create the ambience and aroma of your choice.
Environmentally Friendly
Contrary to many beliefs a modern Log Burner is a surprisingly eco friendly heating option.
Designed to meet the new EcoDesign 2022 regulations and achieving an A+ rating, the particulates released into the air are far lower than older stoves. The continued cycle of planting trees which absorb CO2, burning the logs which release CO2 and the the re-absorbing of CO2 by new trees planted for the log burning industry makes logs a far more sustainable fuel source than conventional fossil fuels.
The Derwent has been tested and meets the standards to be DEFRA approved meaning it can be used in Clean Air locations around the UK.
